25-28.08.2006. The Regional Conference" From Equal to Different" which took place in Kotor wasrelated to Women's Studies programs in region. The Conference was aimed at collaboration based on actions and activities in area of the programs of Women's Studies and Gender Studies between Centers for Women's Studies and Gender Studies in BiH, Croatia, Serbia, Monte Negro, Albania and Kosovo.

The Conference was conceived through two main panels:

• Socio- political context of work of Centers for Women's Studies in region and development perspectives
• Perspectives of feminist theories

 

One of the contents of the Regional Conference was creation of bulletin which gathers personal experiences of women activists and feminists, establishers of Women's Studies in region and biographies of Centers for Women's Studies.

 

Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina were Memnuna Zvizdić and Lidija Živanović, on behalf of the Center for Women's Studies "Žarana Papic"- Žene Ženama.
