Žene Ženama

Volunteering & Internship Program

Offers a unique opportunity for all locals, national and international to share their skills with the disadvantaged people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Is about providing help where it is most needed, sharing knowledge and different ways of working, respecting other cultures, and providing training on specific skills, all in the spirit of mutual growth.

Is an avenue for personal and professional growth, as volunteers will work in challenging environments, live in ways that are sensitive to the cultural values of others, and develop relationships based on shared circumstances and mutual respect.

Supports national and local volunteering by building partnerships geared towards strengthening and building capacities of local volunteer organizations, in terms of managing sustainable volunteer programmes and by providing opportunities for exchange, learning and networking.

Was established in April 1997, in recognition of the skills and knowledge available in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Zene Zenama volunteers share their professional skills and experience with local communities and partners, helping them to set up and run projects that will benefit their own communities.
